wael, so this was an invitation for me to come on OK. May Allah Assst me
Curious, the 3 questions thay wael didnt reply to, I can say the deal with the relationship between a Muslim and Allah, the connection of which u made an anology of the commune, right?

check my reply on post #13, for Mahavspna was looking for the same aspect in Islam.
As for:
How does a Muslim approach Allah upon his/her death with confidence of paradise and not condemnation?
Actually we as Muslims look forward for Allah's Mercy, no matter how well we think we behaved. One can never ever be certain that he/she will be destined to jannah (heaven) by virtue of the deeds. Simple whatever we do, can never pay for only one single bounty of what Allah Blessed us with. Only to be able to think and ponder on Allah's creation, signs..etc, to be able to see, hear ..etc are not but a drop in the sea of Allah's countless bounties. Thus, even if we try hatd to be as excellent muslims as we can, we can never pay back.Tt the end, it is only Allah's mercy tha we look for. However, this never means that we count and rely on this and stop trying to maintain a proper attitdue, no. But being a Muslim means just as wael explained that one will stand for the judgment, serve a term in hell if one is destined to then move to jannah.
Matter of fact this part deals with the Day of judgment, i have moe on it, but will stop here now. Ready for more detail on any point as u need.
May Allah Accept
