Basic Questions Which I've Never Asked...
#7

Bismillah:

Quote:Peace Wel Mel.
Thanks for your answers about Islam. They've created more questions which I will ask later as it's getting late here. But, before I go to sleep..

you are most welcome and waiting for your other questiosn.

Quote:Both of those Gospels taken as a whole and actuall all 4 of them illustrate clearly Christ as Lord and the only hope for salvation for mankind.

the term 'Lord' does not mean God. even Abraham was called God. do you believe that he is also God?

As regards to him being “the only hope for salvation”, Christians take this so literally. It simply means that without following the guidance that was sent to this great messenger you are in no way going to be saved. Also during the time of Moses, no one was saved expect by following Moses' teaching, because this teaching came from God. each and every messenger was sent to his people to instruct them to live a righteous life, and people were obliged to follow these messengers. So, anyone who denies those messengers or disobeys them are not saved and for them there is no "hope of salvation".

Quote:Jesus said of the Commandments in Mathew 5:17 "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill."

and what is the first commandment that Jesus should fulfill? thou shall not have any other God before me. and the speaker here was God the father and not Jesus. therefore this is enough to prove that Jesus is not God.

Quote:Christ goes on to say in Mathew 10:32 "32 “Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven. 33 But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven."

Alhamdulelah, we didn’t deny Jesus PBUH. we believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of God, we believe that he was the Christ, we believe that he healed those who born blind and the leapers by God's permission and we believe that he gave life to the dead by God's permission. in fact NO MUSLIM IS A MUSLIM if he does not believe in Jesus PBUH. the only difference that we say he is not God Almighty in human form, and that he is not the 'only begotten son of God'

Wael.
