Quote:Bismillah,
I was a Christian once and we never talk about gospels. I find born again Christians talk about gospels. What is a gospel. I assume it must be the New Testament. Why we don't beleive in it is because it says Jesus is the son of God and was cursified on the cross for our sins. We don't beleive in this. Our beloved prophet Jesus was only a prophet.
Muslim read the Qu'ran and follow the Qu'ran teachings. The Qu'ran is from Allah.
We beleive there is only one God, Allah (God) and our beloved prophet Mohammed peace and blessing to him was the last prophet.
Wasalam
Gospel literally means "good news." You couldn't have been a Christian once if you don't know the Gospel.
But, my question had more to do with what Muslims believe in general. I know that they don't embrace the Christian Gospel. But, if there is "good news" about Islam...what is it?
