There are a couple young guys I work with who just got back from time in Iraq not very long ago. We were all in the break room one morning when one of the guys asked a question to them about what its like over, and how did he feel about the house to house raids that were going on and civilians being killed in them? And to this that man laughed. And his reply was "They fight with each other anyhow so at least its a good place to get some target practice." hahaha. I'll never forget his face. It really irritated me both as a Muslim and as an American too.
I know you didnt mean any harm. And I dont mean to fight with anybody. We are all entitled to thoughts and feelings of course. Even if they are small minded :) Take care.
