It would be foolish to say that in the Uk there isn't any racism, but I would say its not as bad as other european countries such as France or Germany.
There are numerous contributing factors to racism in the UK. Firstly there is the shear number of imigrants. The UK has the same population as France, but geographically is nearly half the size, and yet takes in nearly 50% of all the legal immigrants in the EU. Add to this the fact that most immigrants head to area's already populated by immigrants from their home nation, you have towns in the UK where immigrant population actually now out numbers the original 'white' population. These are also area's of high unemployment, so locals see this 'invasion' as taking their jobs. It also means that immigrants struggle to find jobs, and blame whites for stopping them getting jobs.
TBH, I don't give a damn if your black,white or green with yellow polkadots, if your willing to work hard then your good enough (although it might be advisable to see a doctor if you have yellow polkadots :) ).
