Quote:Melchisedec is the king of Salem, the Bible tells us that he possess the same qualities of God and yet you dont worship him as you do with Jesus.
You are right. I don't worship Melchisedec, or Melchizedek as I spell it, as I do Jesus. I know that Jesus is the Son of God, and I have accepted him as my personal Saviour.
There are some, particularly Mormans (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) who say that Melchizedek was Jesus. According to LDS tradition, Melchizedek's blessing of Abraham at Salem is a priesthood authority whose keys were restored to Joseph Smith along with the keys of Aaron's priesthood.
Some rabbinic (Jewish) scholars identify Melchizedek with Noah's son Shem. The account of Melchizedek given in the Dead Sea Scrolls has also divided scholars into two camps, one that touts his existence as a mortal man and another that identifies him with the archangel Michael. ]
Quote:this King of Salem.....Melchisedec is without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; said the Bible in Hebrews chapter 7
as for Adam, he dont have any human father or mother, yet you dont worship him.
how about Jesus he have a human mother but no human father. anyone can notice who is greater and deserve to be worshipped.
Neither Adam, Melchisedec/Melchizedek, the archangel Michael, Noah's son Shem, Aaron, nor Joseph Smith died on the cross to pay for my sins. I know the Quran said that Jesus did not die on the cross, but Muhammed was not there, and he probably got the story about Jesus "appearing to die" from some lying Jew that did not want to admit that they had crucified him. After Jesus was buried God raised him from the grave, in fulfillment of prophecy, and your Quran is right he was then raised up to Heaven alive
