Bismillah
Quote:the evil in this world is there for Allah to test the believers. Surely the path the Jannah (heaven) will be filled with trials and tests. Some of these tests come in form of temptations that Shaitaan (Satan) uses to try and lure peolpe over to his side.
Quote:So music and hearts come from Satan?
Or does the fear of them come from Satan?
I am not sure I understand your answer.
Also, evil never comes from God, imo. To say such a thing makes God evil. Atheists make this claim repeatedly as to why God does not exist.
Alhamdulilah for everything, I ask guidance from Allah(SWT), The One and Only True Creator, and all praise and blessings upon His last Messanger and Seal of Prophets.
With full respect to my brother Mohsie, I appreciate his input and effort to respond, but The evil in this world is not from Allah(SWT), but it is from ourselves and shaytan, that is why we always say " if we are right from Allah(SWT), and if we are wrong it is from ourselves and shaytan. We cannot say the evil is from Allah(SWT), Allah forbid, the evil depends on our actions wether we chose the good path or the evil path, so if you chose the good path, then Allah(SWT) will reward you for that choice in this world and hereafter, and if you chose the wrong or evil path, then Allah(SWT) will treat u as such to what YOU have chosen, below are 2 verses which explains that meaning:
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
78:"Wheresoever you may be, death will overtake you even if you are in fortresses built up strong and high!" And if some good reaches them, they say, "This is from Allâh," but if some evil befalls them, they say, "This is from you (O Muhammad SAW)." Say: "All things are from Allâh," so what is wrong with these people that they fail to understand any word?
79:"Whatever of good reaches you, is from Allâh, but whatever of evil befalls you, is from yourself. And We have sent you (O Muhammad SAW) as a Messenger to mankind, and Allâh is Sufficient as a Witness." (An-Nisa 4)
Now in verse 78, it talks about the evil it happens to us, but this verse specifically was revealed after the battle of Uhud, many muslims died and the battle was lost in the begining, and the hyppocrittes in the Madinah, started to blame Prophet Muhammad for this loss, Allah(SWT) explanis in the begining of the verses that death will come to u even if u are in the highest fortress, and if evil comes to u or shortcomings it is from Allah(SWT) but that evil depends on your actions. Then Allah(SWT) completes with the next verse to show, that the evil if it comes to u it depends on your actions, because on that day of Uhud, the wariors did not listen to what prophet Muhammad ordered them to do, so the loss and the evil that was upon you from your own self and choice, but it is also a test from Allah(SWT) to teach muslims a lesson that You as a human you are the One who has the right to decide for yourself, Good and Evil is written for you from Allah(SWT) but it depends on your choice, if you are in an ordeal then return to yourself and see what you have done, if you did any evil or wrong actions, or even treating people in a bad manner, then it is up to you to correct yourself and chose the right path which Allah(SWT) rewards you for it.
It is just like when you are in school, or work, if u study and do good then you will succeed and reach highest ranks and will be highly rewarded, otherwise, if you are lazy, do not study or work hard, then it is your loss. Your boss will either give u a grade and raise or not, and same in our daily deeds, Allah(SWT) will reward us according to our good or evil deeds.
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem:
7. And by Nafs (Adam or a person or a soul, etc.), and Him Who perfected him in proportion;
8. Then He showed him what is wrong for him and what is right for him;
9. Indeed he succeeds who purifies his ownself (i.e. obeys and performs all that Allâh ordered, by following the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism and by doing righteous good deeds).
10. And indeed he fails who corrupts his ownself (i.e. disobeys what Allâh has ordered by rejecting the true Faith of Islâmic Monotheism or by following polytheism, etc. or by doing every kind of evil wicked deeds). , 91, Surat As Shams
Alhamdulilah that Allah(SWT) used us as His slaves, if we are right from Allah(SWT) if we are wrong it is from ourselves and shaytan.
If my answer is still not clear, or u do not understand, and u need more clarification, please Steve do not hesitate to ask :), all the best.
