I agree with Jennifer, nothing in our religion is trivial, I think we really need to know our limits so that we dont fall into haram ditches. If i m not sure whether or not music is haram for sure i just might continue listening to it if it is really hard to stop.
Radiyah actually music is the part of lives of many, let me safely say the majority of those living in the west. And for those who are coming to Islam, they really need to know where they stand in each and every point. U might be blessed of stoping to listen to it, but others need to know if they have to.
