Whats so special about this? Many allusions to God and Light is written in the letters of the Apostles. "God is lights, and there is no darkness at all in him." 1 John Chapter 1 Verse 5 and then there are various others i can provide if any one requests.

the thread on Quran 61:1 stands as proof of the authenticity of Quran. I mean how can one compose a book that contains how he made a mistake and how to handle it. He would rather just cover it up.

Do Muslims then give full crediblity to the three books of Moses then? in their Moses reveals his own sins as well as the sins of his own people. Make it credible now?
Then we turn to the new testiment where the all the apostles except John desert Jesus in fear that they also may be arrested and punished? Thats a mistake and they didnt try to cover it up. Make it more credible?
Again in the bible, Jesus, the Son of God, shows his human side by asking God to remove the "cup of burden" from him. ALL translations come out to this point and the Apostles, or whomever they told the Good news of the lord to, could have easily covered it up. I guess that must be pretty credible as well then.
To conclude a warning like the one you metioned in clearly seen in the Book of Revalations and it just makes the piece for believable so nothing special there.
