Any way I will make a reply then Insh aAllah split the thread and move the off topic part.
Seraphim, pls do stay on topic, if in any case u need to tackle another point, feel free to start a new thread pls.
Now as Dan told u yes, the Messenger did everything to leave us a lesson. He married, divorced, had children die, immigrated, ate, had sex etc. Whatever we need to know how and when we learn from him.
Now what is ex. Abu Afak) and I think Dan covered the killed in his name.
Seraphim, let me first tell u something, we do understand how non Muslims in some cases come to this or any other Muslims board with the intention to try and convince themselves they are correct.
We understand this. But we also respect your desire to know. So we do reply to your points with no bias. so let us keep it this way.
The killing Ayahs are clear I m sure u know them.
Moving to the war spoils issue. U actually brought up an excellent point.
why him and not the other prophets?
Thru Mohamed prayer and peace be upon him, Allah Established the final laws mankind must enforce. It has nothing to do with being a war general, if such he would have taken the spoils all to himself. Now Mohamed prayer and peace be upon him by a hadeeth was granted 5 advantages over other prophets and messengers: I will just list them from the top of my mind, if u want the hadeeth, I will dig it for u.
He was granted victory thru Allah throwing terror in the hearts of the enemy while he is still a distance of travelling that takes a month, he was send to the whole world not only his own people like every other prophet, war spoils were made lawful to him, he will be allowed to intercede, and earth was made to him a pure masjed.
Can u see the difference, being the final messenger, he was allowed things from Allah that were not allowed before. Allah always Wills to bestow mercy on mankind.
Allah Allowed him to benefit of war spoils because he was building a state, in which, he educated people, sent delegations to teach Islam like the one that went to Najran after the visit of the delegation of the priests. They needed the money to run the state. From this fifth, he also supported poor and those who are new to Islam.
Do u understand now. Mohamed prayer and peace be upon him, was not just a Messenger but rather as I said a leader, teacher, leader of Mujahedeen and more.
