Most of the papers and writings I looked through agree that Aisha was 6 at the time of marriage but 9 at the time of intercourse. This idea was both supported by the Chrisitian/Jewish writers who would, of course, have a bias and also by Muslim writers who usually take the stand that it was totally ok in those times for a very old man to have sex with a 9 year old. I mean i, surprisingly, havent been to 7th century Middle East so i wouldnt know. Anyways, ust one question I really want answered...Most likely at what age would a girl play with dolls along with her friends?
