'Abdullah bin 'Amr, may Allah be pleased with them, narrated:


A man asked Allah's Messenger (may peace and blessings be upon him) which (of the merits) is superior in Islam? He (the Prophet pbuh) remarked: That you provide food and extend greetings to one whom you know and whom you do not know
