Bismillah As Salam alaikum Thinking about death is not wrong. It actually encourages us to work harder and better when we realize just how short this life is. Wishing for death is wrong because once you are dead, you can no longer earn good deeds. Muslims should hope for long good lives in order to earn many deeds in the pursuit of pleasing Allah.
