With Islam, i would've converted many a years ago, if it is not for the lingering thought in the back of my mind just seeing Mohammed as a warlord looking to solidfy his kingdom by making it into a religon by copying many parts of the bible and torah. I beilive he has not an unlearned and illterate man, seeing as how he was a merchant and merchants must've been well aquinted with knoledge and how there was no number system back then so he would've had to written his transcripts ect. Just because some of his friends say he was illterate isn't enough from me to give up Christ.

He was illiterate alfredo, not just because his companions said, because it is a fact and known threw out history. And not him only most arabs were illiterate at that time, those who were literate were a few at that time between the arabic tribes, and also he was raised with the bedwins, were there were no teachings of anything, they were only sheperds and he was a shepard just like all other prophets, and he was not a merchant alfredo, I don't know from where u got that Idea, he did not own any money and he was poor, except that later because he was known to be honest and trust worthy, the meccans used to trust him, leave their money with him, or send him for their trades if they cant go. Read about Islam from the right sources Alfredo, and u will find the truth. And prophet Muhammad did not take his writings from the Bible or Torah, it was revealed by Allah to him. Just keep asking all those questions u have and we will keep answering u, there is much more to explain, but as i told u in a previous post, we are not hasty in answering because we are not scholars, just ask Allah for guidance and He will show u the way. if u want to read more about prophet Muhammad and proof that he is a prophet read the thread below, it is not finished we have a lot to add, but we are building it up slowly and steadily by will of Allah.
