I must say I do respect much your comments, true we can not relate incidents if not backed by evidence.
Me myself I wouldnt really discard such possibilities, since I know the jews for example (check Lavon movement) were indulged in similar activities in Egypt on like 56. U can google lavon movement for the time being.
Praise be to Allah, being a native Arabic speakers gives me the privilage to read the hadeeth in Arabic and translate it.
If u will accpet my translation, I am posting it here.
Then later we can discuss it.
Narrated Abdullah Ibn Omar that the Messenger salla Allah a`alyhee wa sallam came to us saying O people of Muhajereen (immigrants) there are five issues if you will be inflicted with them and I seek refuge to Allah that you would not be available when they occur,
never fornication would spread among people till they commit it publicly except that plague and other unprecedented diseases which was never experienced before among their predecessors would spread and prevail,
never people would cheat while weighing and scaling except that they suffer tough times, food deficiency and unjust rulers,
never people refrain from paying Zakat for their money except that they would be denied rain from sky and if it was not for animals they would have never received rain,
never people violate the covenant of Allah and His Messenger except that Allah Sends on them an enemy from outside to take part of what is in their hands,
and when their Imams (religious leaders) don’t rule with the book of Allah and start selecting from what Allah revealed except that Allah instills their torture among them.” (reported by Ibn Majeh)
I broke the hadeeth into points for u to be able to follow. Thus what is happening is not the problem or let us say the disease but rather symptoms for diseases the Muslim Ummah is inflicted with. I admit usually I have a totally different viewpoint to things happening around me.
If the current situation didnt occur the Messenger wouldnt have been the Messenger who does not speak of desire.
Look at this one too:
Ahmad relates in a hadeeth narrated by Abu Hurairah, radhiallahu `anhu, that the Prophet, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam said, "The Hour will not happen until knowledge is taken out, time passes quickly, earthquakes increase in number, tribulations (fitan) appear, <b>and al-Harj increases in number." It was said, "What is al-Harj, O Rasoolullah?" He said, "Al Qatl, al Qatl (Killing)". </b>(Bukhar)
Here I m not discussing who is right and who is wrong, but rather stating the point that people do get killed while just even going to work in the morning.
It is a stage that was foretold by the Messenger prayer and peace be upon him indicating the closeness of the hour. The hour is when this world will come to an end.
