Quote:I came to this forum from Wel Me 2, after i told him i was considering converting or reverting as he told me to call it. Right now i'am christian, but i haven't yet abandeded it. The things that brought me to question christianty were the bibles many contradtions and scientific absurtites.
Well alfredo, this is the first time i c this post, I was a bit busy the past month, so if u r the same alfredo on the thread bible corrupt, as sister Umm asked, well u came with the bible having absurties and all that stuff. and on the other thread The Holy Quran has absurdies, won't u make up your mind. If any1 is trying to turn u away from the right path alfredo, do not listen to them, be sincere in your search, and u will be guided. Unless u came already on this forum to end up saying that The Quran is full with absurtites, or u did not understand The Holy Quran as U should.
Peace
Quote:I am not sure if u r referring to Prophet Mohamed sallah Allah a`lyhee wa sallam? but Allah Did not physically reveal Himself to him neither to any other Prophet. The only Prophet who was advantaged of an extra bonus was Mussa (Moases) who spoke to Allah without an intermediate. I mean he had conversations with Allah. Other than that Allah always Sent His revelation thru Arch Angle Jebreel (Gabriel).
On a side note Intution mentioned in her post the word Tawheed, just in case I dont expect u to know that it is Monotheism). Back again to the point, so Allah Didnt reveal Himself to no Prophet He only Sent revelations to them thru Angle Jebreel for those Prophets to spread the call to Allah..
Sister Muslimah, forgive me for correcting u, but Prophet Muhammad, had the advantage of extra bonus than other prophets, he ascended to the heavens and Allah spoke to him, and if u know Altahiyat that we say in our prayers, that was the first conversation between Allah(SWT) and prophet Muhammad(PBUH) until Altashahud, then the tahiyat were said by the angels, and Allah(SWT) ordered prophet Muhammad(to say these tahiyat in the prayers. prophet Muhammad was left alone at Sedrat Al-Muntaha, not even Jibreel, went with him, it was not allowed for him, only to prophet Muhammad(PBUH), and then Allah Ascribed the 5 prayers.
Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem
1. By the star when it goes down, (or vanishes).
2. Your companion (Muhammad ) has neither gone astray nor has erred.
3. Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
4. It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.
5. He has been taught (this Qur'ân) by one mighty in power [Jibrael (Gabriel)].
6. Dhu Mirrah (free from any defect in body and mind), Fastawa [then he (Jibrael Gabriel) rose and became stable]. [Tafsir At-Tabarî].
7. While he [Jibrael (Gabriel)] was in the highest part of the horizon,
8. Then he [Jibrael (Gabriel)] approached and came closer,
9. And was at a distance of two bows' length or (even) nearer,
10. So did (Allâh) convey the Inspiration to His slave [Muhammad through Jibrael (Gabriel)].
11. The (Prophet's) heart lied not (in seeing) what he (Muhammad ) saw.
12. Will you then dispute with him (Muhammad ) about what he saw [during the Mi'râj: (Ascent of the Prophet over the seven heavens)] .
13. And indeed he (Muhammad ) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] at a second descent (i.e. another time).
14. Near Sidrat-ul-Muntaha [lote-tree of the utmost boundary (beyond which none can pass)],

15. Near it is the Paradise of Abode.
16. When that covered the lote-tree which did cover it!
17. The sight (of Prophet Muhammad ) turned not aside (right or left), nor it transgressed beyond (the) limit (ordained for it).
18. Indeed he (Muhammad ) did see, of the Greatest Signs, of his Lord (Allâh).
53, Surat Al-Najm
Prophet Muhammad saw Jibreel 2 times exactly as he looked like, and the other many times Jibreel would resemble as one of the Prophets(PBUH) companions.
I did not read everything in this post, but a few things caught my attention. I thought to clear these items.
