A very unfortunate thing is now happening on the London tubes which I have to travel on most days.


If a young dark skinned man gets on, you can see people noticable start to stare. If he happens to have a ruksuk or a case tehn I've seen people leave the carriage and get on another one. The terrible thing is, THEY ARE NOT TO BLAME! They are just being as cautious as they can. On the other side, think how terrible it must now feel for anyone who looks faintly muslim to be looked upon with such suspicion! It must be an awful experience to travel under these conditions.


We should neither blame the people who move away or the (possible) muslim who is just trying to travel. It is just a new reality of London. We can only blame the extremists who chose to kill innocents.
