Are the Prophets sinless?
#6

Bismillah

Peace reepi

Actully u brought a very good point here may Allah Assist us all to cooperate to reply. Mash aAllah already wel did his part and I will let him continue with the bible aspect since Mash aAllah he is somehow thru Allah's Help versed with it unlike me.

But I will just corret something Prophet Mohamed salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam didnt sin. The Ayahs of frowing and turning away do not classify the act as a sin.

We can Insh a Allah say that Quran is a manul, a comprehensive one, sent to mankind to help mankind attain the best in this world and Day After. The quran is brought forth thru a human being, thus Allah Must contain in it whatever we might need in any given situation.

To teach us what to do in case we sin and just as Wel mel said according to type, magnitude, degree of sin, we are taught how to handle it.

For example we learnt from Nuh (Noah):

And Nooh (Noah) called upon his Lord and said, "O my Lord! Verily, my son is of my family! And certainly, Your Promise is true, and You are the Most Just of the judges.* He said: "O Nooh (Noah)! Surely, he is not of your family; verily, his work is unrighteous, so ask not of Me that of which you have no knowledge! I admonish you, lest you be one of the ignorants. * Nooh (Noah) said: "O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers." (Quran 11:45-57)

Does the Ayah indicate that Nuh made a terrible sin? no just questioning and not even questioning but pleading to Allah to rescuse his own son.

Again as for the Ayah regarding Daoud and the 2 disputants, the whole story is to teach to never judge by the apparent neither to hasten to judge without investigating full aspects of any given situation. but because he is a Prophet he saw this as a grave mistake. while Allah Does not treat Prophets and Messengers the same way He treats us, no they have more strict rules to adhere to.

For instance Yunus, just becaue he left the people to whom he was making dawa without Allah's Permission, he was swallowed by a whale and stayed there in a prostrtion position just saying la ila ila anta sobhanak inni kuntu mina zalimeen which means:[none has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allah)], Glorified (and Exalted) are You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]. Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers."

All these situations teaches us how to handle difficulties, how to repent, what is the merit of repentance even if one didnt commit a sin.

As for Prophet Mohamed salla Allah A`lyhee wa sallam he was brought up an orphan because Allah Meant to teach him, bring him up thru the Quran the way Allah Wants.

and Allah Knows best.

But these are not sins. Wael just to clarify something so they dont get confused, u said all of the Prophets and Messengers made terrbile sins. We cant say that, they will understand that what the bible contains of incest stories committed by Prophets (astaghferu Allah) are true which of course not true at all.
