Confused

Hey all,

I bet you've all heard this story many times before, but here it goes.

I came to this forum from Wel Me 2, after i told him i was considering converting or reverting as he told me to call it. Right now i'am christian, but i haven't yet abandeded it. The things that brought me to question christianty were the bibles many contradtions and scientific absurtites. On another forum that Wel Me 2 belongs to, their all faithless (odd i know) and they easily attack christianty. When Wel Me 2 came to the forum annocuing he was a muslim, and when we all got in a debate of islam, i attempted to prove the Koran was not correct and could be easily attacked like the bible. But Wel Me 2 easily came up with a logical answer to everything. It was very hard not to be intersted. I did some research, and the scientific facts in the Koran blew me away. Then, i went to some sites comparing the Bible and Koran. There are some scientific facts in the bible that i was as well impersesed with, but the Koran just made more sence. I always thought the 6 day creation story was just a leap of faith, a simple explanation for a simple people back then, but then the Koran had it right on the money. I haven't read it yet, but i will. I havent convertered or reverted, but i would be lying to you all if i say im not considering it. Also, iam not an american, and it might be hard to convert to, well, a non-main stream religon here. Even though i know there are parts in which many muslims are. I have a few questions though,

If i convert, christianty condems me to hell, whereas if i stay a muslim, islam says i can remain in heaven.

And, why would god reveal himself to only one man? Also, i;ve heard the claims that the Koran is perfect, is there a koran from the 6th century that matches the koran of today to prove that? And, would i have to call god allah? In christianty, god's true name is Yaweh, but we do not call our creator that out of respect. Wel Me 2 has told me that Mohammed has performed miracles, but did the angel gabireal show himself to anyone else? Thank you all for helping, well, a very confused and soul-searching person.

Thanks in advance,

Alfredo
