In islam we have prescribed situations where telling an untruth is permissible.


Christianity doesn't, I understand. At least from what I've gleaned and the inflection in your posts.


For the record...


You may have noticed that the most quoted, revered, respected person in the NT is Paul.


The Doctrine of Paul;


2 Corinthians 12:16

Crafty and deceitful?


and a self-exposed hypocrite;

All things considered do you reckon he's crafty and deceitful in the following verse...for the sake of the gospel, so that he too may have a share in it...

And didn't Jacob (peace be upon him) in your holy book steal the birthright of his brother Esau by lying?


What is the verdict of GOD on the honesty of the bible?
