Assalamu'alaykum.....


i'm always into music... especially songs from Raihan.... luv their songs....


anyway, i do think music is a matter of Furu' and not Usul. of course we can say that music with bad lyrics is haram. also those that considered Lagha. but some music are good, my little cousins learnt Asma'ul Husna through a song, and the same thing goes to names of the prophets etc.


let just say that music is a tool. like the knife, whether you use it to cook or to kill someone, the goods and bads depend on how you're using it. the same thing goes to music, it just a tool. so use your intellect to differentiate between good and bad.
