As Salam alaikum


I have been in the same place that you are in, bro. How can people refuse to drink from something so sweet if only they would open their minds?


I will relate to you my own personal experiences and Insha'Allah they will be of some help. I try to remember how Islam spread to Indonesia, by example. People usually will ask me about Islam the more that they get to know me. I try not to be shy about talking about my faith in front of nonmuslims. Many times we, as an ummah, tend to say God instead of Allah when talking to nonmuslims. If we use the word Allah, at least they might ask more questions. "What does Allah mean?" etc.


If I don't broach the topic myself, then people do not feel defensive or preached at when Islam does come up. If I am fasting during Ramadan, I make it pretty apparent so others may ask me about it.
