"people Of The Book" & The Muslims

woopss... dear sister Muslimah i hope i'm not one who u said. i try to say my piece, but if you all find me wrong, don't be shy to correct me OK! i don't want Allah to throw me in Hell for talking without knowledge.


i found an interesting Hadith on this:


<b>Narrated Abu Hurairah: Allah's Messenger (PBUH) said: "By Him (Allah) in Whose Hand Muhammad's soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews & Christians (of these present nations) who hears about me & then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent (i.e. Islamic Monotheism), but he will be from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire." [sahih Muslim, Book of Faith, vol 1, chapter no 240]</b>



also, in the Quran:


<b>And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, & in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers." [3:85]</b>



as muslims believe Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc. are muslims, their true followers should be muslims as well. the Ahli-Kitab is in their times. now is our time. the Quran perfected the one Divine religion revealed before, so people of the Scriptures should be able to identify Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), if they truly hold on to their true teachings (as Abdullah bin Salam, a Jewish muslim). they can seek the story of Abraham's religion.


but if they don't, i believe the disbelievers shouldn't really be angry for saying this anyway. as muslims dont' ask Heaven from Jesus Christ etc... so why do non-believers ask Heaven from Allah, when they don't believe in Allah at all. right? although maybe they're angry, because some of us might sound fanatically denouncing to them. that's why i think we muslims must be careful, as Prophet Muhamad (PBUH) said to preach Islam with Hikmah, right? but in the essence, there's nothing to be angry about.
