Wassalaam,
Eid is day after Hajj which means it is on the 20th since Hajj is today.
My friend who has gone to Hajj rang me and told me that the anouncement for Hajj was for the 20th and Eid for 21st but for unknown reason the Saudi govt. changed the day. Allah knows best.
But what I would like to say is that those people who do not think that Eid is on the 20th i.e. day after Hajj, can they tell me if the people who have gone to do hajj is their hajj valid?
It's a simple issue but we make it difficult ourselves by following blindly i.e. false loyalties to family, sheikhs, tribes, masjids etc. when our loyalty should be with the Islamic aqeedah.
Rasool SAW said that slowly slowly the knotts of Islam will become untied, first the knott of ruling will be untied and the final knott will be of Salah.
So let us work together to tie the knotts of Islam rather than undoing the knotts by our own hands which Rasool SAW struggled to tie tightly!
