Many times a verse in the Noble Qur'an is pointed out to me where Allah describes some people as being "deaf and dumb to the truth" And who ever Allah guides no one can misguide and vice versa. So sometimes should we have to keep constantly receiving the batterings from the same people over and over and over?
We're told in the Qur'an to give Da'wah but that's it. If they are not getting it by now, do we have to keep entertaining them? Over and over and over? If new and different people are coming and asking questions, then of course, spread the word and share Islam. But if it's the same person / people over and over again...as far as i've been told, it's not our job to continuously entertain them or try to convince them. In fact it's almost the opposite. We give Da'wah and offer the teachings of Islam, but that's it. the ultimate Job of who is guided and who isn't is with Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) So there's only so much we can do. We have our own issues to discuss.
As i've said elsewhere i've found the truth so unlike them, i have no need to still go searching. There's only so much we can, or should do. Who Allah guides by them taking steps to seek the truth no one can misguide and who Allah misguides due to them seeking another path of Kafir, no one can guide. I don't see the point in continually going back and forth with the same people, who come here to learn, receive the knowledge, then get scared when it starts to look like the truth, thus start an attack. It's tiresome and starting to look real pathetic.
