Assalamu aleikum,
I am not at all surprised about attempts to discredit the Qur'an - Allah, SWT in the Qur'an is clear enough and has told us all about the disbelievers and the challenge is there - and the challenge will be taken then and now and tomorrow, but of course it is a project that will always fail, masha'Allah.
The Truth is outstanding for the ones that adhear to it and the promise for being steadfast in belief can also be read,
''Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise) -- they shall abide therein forever. Allah is pleased with them and they with Him. That is the great success.''
