Thought on hadeeth
#2

Quote: I was a little put off when I first converted because this was the criterea and it seemed a little arbitrary. But the more I get to know Islam the more I come to realize that a person cannot fake the type of character one develops when one is walking unshakenly along the straight path. Insha'Allah I will become like this one day. I am going to shut up now.
As Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu

Nope don't shut up, keep going. How you've explained the Hadith is perfect, like my understanding as well. At first i didn't know to what degree what is fabricated and why we even listen to Hadith that scholars say are weak. But a brother was telling me about a complete course available to study in just the Science of Hadith alone! It is Allhumdullilah very in depth and very rigorous. Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) would not have seen events play out any other way regarding this, this is why if a Hadith is said to be authentic, i trust in Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) .
