Adultery – In Biblical And Islamic Terms
#46

Quote: I keep hearing in my mind..... "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". Jesus says this in the Bible, yes I know, we follow Quran, but we respect Jesus as a prophet as well.

Hi Shaunee, i like you have concerns, it's good to be honest about them. As for what Jesus said, of course we don't really know for sure Jesus said this anyway do we. This is the thing with using the bible as divine guidance, or even using it. I mean of course some of what Jesus said must be in there, the stuff that would fit with the Qur'an which we use as the final kind of benchmark, or guidance when looking at the Bible. But we don't actually know what he said, unless it is in the Qur'an. If Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) or the Final Meesanger of Allah (Peace be upon him) says stone someone, it's something Prophet Isa (Peace and blessing be upon him) would have agreed with i would have imagined. Even though Isa's (Peace and Blessings be upon him) teachings were for a different people, and not for mankind anyway. I can't imagine they would have been so different from the Prophet Muhammeds (Peace be ipon him) message as for him to not accept stoning. I mean i'm recently looking through the Bible the past few months, i mean properly to see the madness in there, and i may be wrong with things here regarding stoning and Jesus (Isa) but, this is how i see it.

As for the stoning, of course no one would want to do it, if people get enjoyment from it, and i imagine some would, then their Affair is with Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) These are not people i would feel comfortable around. Killing criminals for Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) and enjoying justice is one thing but actial enjoyment as each stone hits. Hmmmm

As for the people getting their skulls popped, well one way to avoid it would to be faithful to their partners and have some control over their lower urges in the first place. Not too hard. I also heard it's only happened to one person in modern times anyway. Or if i'm wrong no more than two or three. Because of the need for four witnesses all who's stories must match, or they get a whipping themselves! Who's going to bother with that. If you're going to do something you know is going to get you killed, and what's worse do it in public then...well...you must be pretty dumb, or, in the state of an Animal when you can't control your organs. To the point where you can't control yourself to fornicate so much you don't even fear death! I wouldn't want someone like this around members of my family. Someone who can't control their own Urges enough to not even fear death? They don't sound right to me, like i said, not around my wife or daughter or mother thank you very much. And the fact is they would be.

Also the penalty for rape is death as well unless i am mistaken, someone clear this up for me. So it's generally for nutcases who cannot control themselves. To the point where they fear not fulfilling a desire, more than they fear death! In my painfully infinitely limited insect like knowledge compared to God's i would just give em some beats and be done with it, but i'm not God if he says stone em, then stone em. there's something wrong with them in the first place.

I look at it like this, it's not nice of course it isn't but if the Messanger (Peace be upon him) himself told me to lob a stone at someones head for them commiting adutery, i would do it no even a question asked. All Muslims should. Imagine thinking we have superior wisdom to Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) and not agreeing with it, then when the day comes and Insha Allah we may understand more things, looking back and thinking...now i see. We are not meant to understand everything, it's just a testing ground, a stop a trial for good or bad deeds, this isn't the final step. What happends in this life isn't even a speck on an Atom compared to the afterlife and when we TRULY wake up. I do personally think Shaunee had a good question though which i would like to see answered in depth if possible, however i don't fuss to much with it. Don't cheat on your wife, rise above acting like an Animal and you don't get stoned like one.
