Adultery – In Biblical And Islamic Terms
#45

Quote: Any,
Let me tell you..... I can probably understand how you feel. I have been to message boards lately that made me cry, and these were Islamic forums, where people were cursing Muslims, the prophet(pbuh) and filth like you wouldn't believe spewing from these people. The prophanity was just unbelievable. I tried yelling at these people, argued with them and even insulted them back (without the cursing of course). I have seen evil people post things in Islamic forums that just made my stomache turn. It's so horrible what people think of us. After going through all of that in the past few weeks, I have to ignore them. I am so easily angered these days. [Image: sad.gif]

If you don't mind, I'd like to suggest something to help you........ that when you see a post from someone that you know is a nasty person, and you just know ahead of time that they have nothing nice to say about Islam and the Muslims..... just scroll right past the poster, and go to the next message from one of your brothers or sisters.

I am personally sick and tired of people who have no interest what so ever in Islam, flooding Islamic forums just to cause trouble. One person said that they have been visiting Islamic websites for five years. Five years this person has dedicated to causing trouble and bothering people. It's just unbelievable.

I only want to give you some encouragement, not really tell you what to do. I'm sure you can handle yourself as an adult, but just know I believe I can understand how you feel, to a point anyway.

Salaam.

Thank you Shaunee i will take your advice on board. See when i first became Muslim or rather when i announced it, as i have said on here, i got a flood of email links by ex Christians telling me allsorts. Yes, some of the worst stuff i've ever heard, not the usual accusations on the Prophet (Peace be upon him) that stuff is so tiring now, like they are the first people to come with this stuff. But other stuff, and it did weaken me, the members here helped me and always said go to Qur'an, see if it's true, all the time when people say stuff, just look for yourself (most important).

And slowly as i looked into it, took facts from one site, and compared them with facts from another site, i see the holes appear and it all became a big sham. Everyone of these anti Islam sites is completely empty of any content, it's because they know how weak as a source of Divine guidance the bible is and that anyone can pick a scentence from a book, highlight it, and say how evil it is, without revealing the rest of them. This is why i don't really do this with the Bible, even though personally i have views on it. I can't just pcik out one bit and then highlight it on a forum like two words, you need the rest of it to have it make sense. This is what these sites did.

And once i sat downa nd truly read up for myself, looked at what they were saying Allhumdullilah i got back on the path, now i just get angry with em, as opposed to beliving what is said, because once you actually look, there's nothing there it's amazing!! their words are emtpy sometimes clever attempts to somehow put some twist on something, and put Islam in a bad light. I've had it all, i won't say it but yes i went through all these sites, all the big ones probably too early on as being a revert. Anyway i see what you are saying and i really do need to take your advice on board. Jazakallahu khayran. I have actually asked Allah for help, and patience with posters like John so let's see how i do. Erm...not to good so far [Image: wacko.gif]
