Adultery – In Biblical And Islamic Terms
#41

Quote:And yes Shaunee, The Quran does not contradict The Sunnah, U have a long way in order to learn about Sharia' and Fiqh in Islam, even though some say that they read enough, and they had enough, beleive me, u will never learn enough and read enough about Shariea in Islam unless u study it with an open heart and eyes and mind. But with blind eyes, and sealed hearts how are they to c the truth and learn what is right from wrong.( and I am not saying this about u shaunee dear, but other members)

Ok, I agree, but I was asking that question so that I can learn, not trying to sound like I knew what I was talking about or anything. This is just something that I've heard in passing, not that the hadith would contradict the quran, maybe I used the wrong words on that one....... could have been I should have asked if the hadith is not specific enough or something?

Well, this whole subject is a very sad one, because I cringe at the thought of stoning. I could never imagine witnessing such a thing, let alone being the one who actually throws the stone.

Please please please please forgive me for saying this next statement, but I have to bring it up for the sake of honesty, because I would hate to sit here and say one thing and think another, so I have to tell you what is on my mind now........

I keep hearing in my mind..... "He who is without sin, cast the first stone". Jesus says this in the Bible, yes I know, we follow Quran, but we respect Jesus as a prophet as well. I just keep hearing that in the back of my head when I think of stoning.
