Can We Use Other Than The Language Of Arabic When
#22

Assalamu'alaikum W.B.T. & hello, [Image: smile.gif]

i'm a non-arabic speaking muslim. & it's true, if you read the Quran to me in Arabic, I don't understand a word what you're saying (well, except for Al-Fatihah & the easy surahs). so, I'm dependant on good Quran translations.

although, I do learn how to read with tajwid & can read the arabic verses, but it's just up to there. so in my salat, i take 20 minutes just for 4 raka'at prayers. a 3 page Quran, takes me just as long! because i need to read the Arabic, then think about the translations. basically, i read the same thing twice, in 2 different languages. so if arabic speakers can recite the Quran in Ramadhan, it's very hard for me to even finish it this whole year. although i can, if i don't read the arabic. but, i don't know. there's some originality about it when keeping to the arabic verses.

more work, i guess.. so arabic speaking muslims, cherish ur language. [Image: smile.gif]
