there was a particular tribe or group of jews back in the days that called ezra the son of god. of course not all jews believed this because it goes against judaism. when they looked back into their history they found that a particular sect of judaism did believe in a son of god. as far as son of god ideas go, there were many ideas of this in roman and greek mythology. for e.g. troy being the son zues . i believe christianity got this son /god ideas from the roman pagans. christianity is heavely influenced by the roman pagans.
