Secondly, PeaceInIreland,
I live in New Jersey..... and even HERE we have slaughter houses...... from what I've been told by a Muslim (in NJ by the way)..... is that you can have someone who is trained to go to the slaughter house with you and perform the deed. There is a place like this only 10 minutes from my house. You walk in ..... they take you to the animals.... you size them up, see which one you want...... and then they kill it for you, clean it up, chop it up, or whatever you want done with it.
What is illegal in the United States as far as animal sacrifice.... is the crazy nonsense of teenage kids have Satanic rituals in their backyards killing their neighbors cats and dogs.
If a person lives on a farm, PeaceInIreland, they can kill whatever the heck they want.... as long as the animal was raised for killing. A farmer can do with his property whatever he likes,... his animals are his property. What you also may be confusing this with... is some sort of animal cruelty that is illegal.
Just the word animal sacrifice alone is a very foreign term in the United States. It makes the whole thing seem somewhat "odd". However, if you sat down and read your Bible dear sir..... I would like you to count how many times God recieved calves as a sacrifice.
