Bismillah
as salam alykom
I echo Intution's words lian, but can I add something Intuition, even if your wishes didnt all came true, all of your dua is accepted but moreover Allah Rewards u for the act of making dua because dua itself is a worship.
When a person makes dua he is between three situations either Allah Grants the person what he/she asked for, not to grant the person the request but instead takes away an evil off the person, or delay the reward of the dua till the Day After. U know what? when we are in the Day After, just for realizing the reward of our delayed dua, we would wish that all of our dua's were delayed. Make dua brothers and sisters as much as possible. Talk to Allah. Make dua for youselves, then parents, family members and all Muslims.
<b>"Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord! Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us (Jews and Christians); our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness. Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Supporter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people."
