A Common Problem I Notice Alot Lately.....

So..... I said my Shahada privately.... during conversation with my friend this morning.... but I suppose I would have to make it official one day. 

Asalaam Alaikum sister!!!!!!!! Wow this is some good news to come home to after a stressful day. Allah is with you now and so are you brothers and sisters right here!! For me, now was the hardest part. I remember pronouncing my Shahada alone in my apartment, tears down my face. It was very powerful also very nerve racking because i knew my family came next.

Insha Allah this forum will remain!!


But no, you don't know how happy it made me to read this, even if you take your steps slowly when announcing to family, never rush it, take your time, pray Allah will help you. I thought my girlfriend would not let me see my daughter but Allah softened her heart. I still havent told mine or friends, just Ex girlfriend and it's been a good few months since i pronounced Shahada. In fact i need to go to a Mosque to do it officially. Allahu Akbar, sister welcome aboard!


Take things slowly, Allah is watching over you and will guide you. As difficult as it may seem, and you'll probably get a heap of crazy emails from some of the guests who roam these boards i did. All sorts of madness, let us know. There's a positive site to counter every negative one someone will send you. You've cheered me up for the night now!
