Shaunee, Hi I hope you are well. I just wanted to say I agree you should not wait if you really wish to begin to follow Islam. I think you should relax about your husband. I was married at the time I found Islam in my heart, and at that time my husband was much like you described yours to be. But to my amazement, his attitude changed totally about religion, and now masha Allah he is a practicing Muslim. And if you do something for the sake of Allah, then Allah will make your way easy for you. Just be patient with everything, and things will be just fine.
