Quote:Hate to knock you from your 'high chair' - I was not raised as Catholic.
I'm not on any high chair, but I suppose I made an assumption - my mistake - when you made your grandiose statement about graduating from some Catholic Institute. But what you are telling me, then, is that you are no expert on the Bible, either in knowledge or experience with it. Okay, fine.
Quote:Can you find a single Christian parents who would allow, willingly, to let his son or daughter study in a Islamic school? That's call 'Islamic tolerance', dear.
Uhhh... What would be the point of teaching your child something that you don't believe? And I'm sure that every night when they come home, the Muslim parents put down and bad-mouth the Bible much like what happens on this site and practically every Muslim web site I've ever been to.
Quote:Your 'particular Bible' may have 'omitted' this Verse
Funny. Listen, I was VERY clear on this issue. It's not about "ommitting a verse". It's about the Catholic church ADDING things that were never considered divinely inspired in the first place. I think I was very clear on that in my prior post.
Quote:According to Dr. Robert Funk, DDD, and his twenty-three Christian theologians
Sorry, I don't accept the teachings of Mr. "Funk-y". No one can came to be Christian yet say the majority of the Bible is not divinely inspired.
What would you think if I came to you and quoted a so-called Muslim who didn't believe the Quran was the word of Allah? Wouldn't that be stupid???
Same concept applies here.
I've already dealt with Mr. FUNK on another thread so I won't repeat it here. You can believe him if you like; not my problem.
I'm just saying, be careful what you claim and post about the Bible, because any falsities in your statements could 1) lead other people to repeat the falsehoods and 2) be easily exposed.
