hmmm... basing from those articles posted, it's not surprising on why you chose(if the case may allow) islam as your religion. but then, that goes for everyone, eh?
if Christians always visit Christian sites, then they've just seen a side of a dice. same goes for atheists, hindus, muslims, jews, etc. "evidences" are presented, none are refuted, because well, it's your belief's site. why would they post something that opposes their religion that they can't counter? but that also means not being able to decide justifically.
no offense, but i think that case is sometimes present here. whisper presented a site(or a book) yet it was edited and removed because it's "anti-islam."(something i don't believe it is.)
if you really believe Islam is the truth, visit(if you haven't) that site. absorb what's written, then refute it. listen to other belief's sides, or else it'll be a biased faith.
i'm not insulting or being prejudiced in here, i'm just stating my views.
---------------------------------------
a. i think Muslims believe that Jesus was sinless. since Muhammad is "greater" than Jesus, I can probably conclude that Muhammad was also sinless.
but Muhammad i heard, had 12 wives(one was even 8 years old!). the quran says Muslims can only have "4" wives. he broke the law.
b. i don't think atheists, christians, hindus, buddhists etc turning Muslim, a proof for Islam. it's present in every religion. there are atheists become Christians, hindus becoming buddhists, taoists becoming pagans and others.
c.
Quote:Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet.[/quote:ca02572603]there are more followers of Christ who were persecuted, tortured, killed in a worse way than Muhammad's followers did. in 1999, 164,000 Christians have been martyred. i don't think Islam comes close.
d. christianity is more wide-spread than islam. there are about 2 billion Christians and about 1.2 muslims.
islam was spread with the use of sword. from what i learned, Muhammad conquered kingdoms and converted the subjects to be Muslims.
Christianity didn't do it this way. the Apostles of Christ did it by preaching the Gospel, not forcing anyone to convert into Christianity.
Islam is the world's fastest growing religion, it's true. but it's mainly because muslim can have up to 4 wives(then, more children/muslims) and because some muslim terrorists force nonMuslims to convert to that religion.
peace.
