Okay, I've spent some time reading through links, posts, etc., etc.
Let me ask this question, something I've never quite understood... Well, actually 2 questions.
1. Why did God speak directly to seemingly every other prophet, but then Muhammad, who was supposed to be the last, final and greatest prophet, only had an angel speak to him? Why the change?
2. Why haven't I seen a place in the Quran or a quotation from Muhammad that says the previous revelations were corrupted? The Quran seems to say that there is "guidance" in the Torah and Gospel; why doesn't it also say that they have been corrupted? Or why isn't this stated in a hadith? I would think that that was pretty critical information to convey to people.
