Root Cause For Violence, Choas, Wars, Etc…
#4

Oh most definatly. Darwinism sort of legitimized the concept that one set of life-forms is supposed to be replaced by another. However, this is done through "natural selection" and Darwin considered humans killings humans (or anything else really) to be "artificial selection." The fact that Darwin considered Humans so far above animals that he would not even lump them into the same responsibility group shows that he did not think that his theories on evolution gave humans the right (or explanation) to slaughter other humans (or other forms of species.)

I think Dan hit the nail right on the head. The original post was definatly interesting, but hard to accept as the truth. Also, just to make clear, believing in Darwinism doesn't necessarily mean you believe a concept contrary to Islam. If you ask any Muslim farmer (or a farmer of any faith), they will tell you that planting the kernels from the biggest ears of corn will produce better corn. If you continue only replanting the finest corn, you will weed out most of the inferior corn. That is Darwinism/Evolution. The extent to which you believe it can of course varry (i.e., a farmer who believes the "corn" example of a person who believes that we humans came from early, tree dwelling mammals.)
