Islamic Battles Fought During Ramadhaan
#22

Quote: Islam was spread to spread the authority of mohammad and his arab cohorts. I see no difference in the spread of arab imperialism to that of european imperialism.

For you to make such a comment goes to show your ignorance towards Islam and that of your own history.

Imperialism is defined as the policy of extending a nation's authority by territorial acquisition and by the establishment of economic and political hegemony over other nations.

This is the definition of imperialism/colonialism, Iraq today is a under the guise of "freedom" etc. but matter of fact is that it is colonialism at work!

Whenever a land was conquered by Islam, that territory became part of the state and not as a seperate entity. Whereas imperialism does not make the land its own but controls it and subjugates it directly or indirectly via its agents/puppets. Hence, you have people hating the colonialists as they are seen as occupiers.
