Importance Of Beard

Bismillah As Salam alaikum I had to ask myself what would Allah prefer me to do (which was obvious) and why do I not want to grow mine long. It is because the society that I live in disdains it or sees it as scruffy or unclean. I know have a beard but I have yet to let it just grow without trimming it. Insha'Allah, I will step by step move closer to that which pleases Allah. As Salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu |
