Islamic Leader Praises Russian School Siege

That group are a fringe group of yahoos. The term "Islamic leader" is very misleading as the guy leads a small bunch of "quacks".  Other than that, I have not seen anything but condemnation from Muslim groups on this attrocity.  Now, had the victims been infidel adults instead of innocent children, I wonder if the condemnation would be the same.

It will be the same, no killing of civilians in Islam, we said that many times, children, women, men, true jihad is man agianst man, army agianst army, no civilians to be involved.


From Sahih Muslim: Chapter 8: PROHIBITION OF KILLING WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN WAR



Book 019, Number 4319:


It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that a woman was found killed in one of the battles fought by the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). He disapproved of the killing of women and children.


Book 019, Number 4320:


It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles; so the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) forbade the killing of women and children.





There are other ahadeeth that forbid killing civilians or cutting trees or even dismantelling prayer places. Cant find them now, if I find them I will post them.

Brother lifutushi, it is okay to repeat ourselves in answering, the repetition might melt hearts and u never know maybe first answer was not satesfying the second might be, this is also Jihad in cause of Allah, and not only the carrying of swords.
