Muslimah, Why Won't You Answer These Questions?
#15

Praise be to Allah Lord of the Worlds, King of the Kingdom, to Him is the Beautiful Names and Attributes, may Allah expand my chest and untie a knot in my tongue so that they understand what I say, Allahuma sallee a`ala Mohamed wa a`ala a`al Mohamed

Alhamulelah for being a native Arabic speaker, I m taking this chance to explain the issue of Zakah whether or not LuL is willing to really understand.

First off lul u have grave mistakes in your transliteration which is making it a change in Quran, total change in Quran I don’t have the time to correct all of them but I will give u one example.

hal-laka-ilaa-ta-zak-ka’. 79-18

The Noble Ayah say:

fa qol hal laka ela an tazzaka

Just look at the difference, 24:21 has even more grave mistakes, I am not sure what is your source of transliteration. I am not going to delete them just for other members to realize your position exactly as well as the motive.

Since the point was raised on the forum I see it an obligation to shed light on it.

Just note that the Arabic language is so rich and full of elquecny. The Quran being a miracle in its own, in terms of its style of language, Allah Uses styles that are incomparable. If u can not understand it, let others help u. But u must take in consideration much this point of Quran style.

The word zakah in Arabic is the name derived from the verb uzaki, matter of fact it has several meanings. For instance uzaki means to recommend, to purify, to elevate.

So when Allah Is Talking about Allah Uzakeekum for example (as in 24:21`) it means both Allah Purifies us and only Him Who recommend us. It is a command here not to make decisions about anyone’s rank in the eyes of Allah.

We are not supposed to make an evaluation for someone in regard to his./ her position from Allah. In other words to recommend someone to Allah. The Arabic sense in this part is really hard to convey in English but I will do my best with the close guidance of Allah. It bears the sense of talking good or making a good decision on someone while only Allah Is The One Who Knows the real position of each one of us. So only Allah Owns this right. For example when we resign from work we ask for a recommendation letter mentioning our qualities so that other employers may take in consideration. The Ayah is commanding us not to do this on Allah’s behalf, but also warning us not to do it. We are not allowed to say O look at this person, he always catches up with Salat in the masjed, fasts Mon and Thus, etc, O he must be very special to Allah. This is called uzaki xyz, we can not do that.

Back to the sense of purification that the word also takes, from this sense Allah Commands us to give out Zakah of our money according to a certain rule. With this percentage we purify our money and makes it Halal. So the sense of purification is very important in this regard. Thus Allah Being The Most elquotent delberatley used the term zakah for the obligatory money that we should give unlike the Sadaqah. Allah Meant to indicate how it is important to give out this percentage as is, which believe is a test for people, many of them fail. Money is very dear to human beings, Allah Meant to enjoin a fixed amount to be given out in order to purify it and for them to prove that Allah comes first. That is why it is different from the word Sada`qa which is money we give for charity voluntarily. Note that Allah Mentioned the word Sadaqa (money for charity) in other positions from Quran which to any one who can follow the language will realize the difference.

Alhamdulelah who guided us for this and if it was not for Him we wouldnt have been guided.

Note: I looked again at one of my previous posts to u, and I found it was not me, usually I am patient Alhamdulelah. I thought I might as well take it that u want to know. Regarding your confusion about Salat Insh aAllah we will try with Allah's close help to settle it.

But one point both u and Icon never answered according to 33:56 we are commanded to say Allahum sally a`ala Mohamed when we mention his name which both of u never do, This is Quran. how come u dont follow the clear command??
