About the Noble Quran
#31

Praise be to Allah Lord of the Worlds, The Creator and The Merciful, prayer and peace be upon His Messenger

Still with Noble Quran and the amazing usage of Allah’s Names and Attributes

(Quran 2: 127-129) “And (remember) when Ibrâhîm (Abraham) and (his son) Ismâ‘îl (Ishmael) were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka‘bah at Makkah), (saying), "Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer, the All-Knower." [1]”

At this situation when Ibraheem and his son were adhering to the commandments of Allah of reconstructing Ka`aba, although as noted it was an order from Allah, yet they were still seeking His Acceptance. So they were talking to Allah invoking upon Him, thus they needed the All – Hearer.

While at the same time, they wanted their intention to be only for Allah and as such they needed the All Knower. Seeking help through the same Name, they were admitting that only the All Knower Who gave the orders Knows the reason behind it, only Him Knows the wisdom behind it, only Him Knows the reason behind assigning them personally for this task. Only Him knows what is outcome of this reconstruction. As such they were also practically submitting to the All Knower. They were confirming their limited knowledge.

128.” Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show us our Manâsik [2] (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajjand ‘Umrah), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.”.

They continued while fulfilling the Divine command to supplicate to their Lord to make them submissive (Muslims), please note the request they made to Allah. Making them submissive, totally submitting to Allah and His will. In other words, they immediately assume the task (any task) commanded by Allah without why or how or when, they just do it. The same request they made to Allah for their offspring. Alhamdulelah that we are among them. Then, building on the task they were assigned for of reconstructing the Kab`a, they requested to Allah to teach them steps of the related worship, and at last asked Allah to accept their repentance. For all of this, they called upon Allah with His Name Who accepts repentance (Tawab) and Most Merciful. Certainly when we need all of what they asked for, we will invoke upon the Tawab to accept our repentance who is at the same time Most Merciful, in an effort to benefit of this Attribute so that He bestows what we requested and overlooks any bad deeds. Thus they needed the Tawab Most Merciful to first accept repentance and bestow mercy on them in case that their bad deeds are not eliminated so they may benefit of His Mercy. The outcome of all that is that Allah accepts the preceding duas they already made. Sobhan Allah.(subhanall

129. Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allâh answered their invocation by sending Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه وسلم who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Book (this Qur’ân) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of the Islâmic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood), and purify them. Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise."

In this position, when Ibraheem requested from his Lord to choose one of them to assume the Messenger’s role, he continued explaining and of course Allah is the All Knowing, the purpose of sending the Messenger which is to teach them Quran and wisdom. Because of this type of request they invoked upon Allah with His Attributes All Mighty All Wise through the All wise Allah Shall allow them to learn wisdom and the Mighty (Azeez) shall support the Messenger with all necessary tools to fulfill His duty, the All Mighty Shall certainly defend His Messenger and the followers, shall grant them the upper position above their enemy. In a very short expression Allah explained the potential hardships this expected Messenger will encounter. Only to use the All Mighty Attribute here, reflected the meaning. Sobhan Allah. (subhanall

(Hamd) Who guided us for this and if it was not for Him we would not have been guided

With an indepth look at the following Ayahs, first Ibraheem invoked upon Allah to make them submissive (Muslims). That was his wish for himself, his son and offspring. He made this dua while reconstructing Ka`aba. In other words, he seized the chance of implementing this Divine duty to make this dua. All he asked was to be submissive.

128.” Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You”

In turn Allah clearly explains the position of one who rejects this faith. Then Allah also describes the status of Ibraheem in this and the Hereafter. In this world Allah chose him, selected him, made him special and in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. Why, simply because of what is mentioned in the next Ayah, because when his Lord commanded him to submit he said I do. Remember it was originally his request.

Just ponder on the reason for Ibraheem to be special in the world and among the righteous in the Hereafter. It is that he submitted himself to Allah.

May Allah Help us to fully submit our will, desires and wish to Allah.

130. And who turns away from the religion of Ibrâhîm (Abraham) (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.

131. When his Lord said to him, "Submit (i.e. be a Muslim)!" He said, "I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the ‘آlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists)."

Praise be to Allah, abundant praise that is adequate to His incomparable bounties and blessings which we can never fully identify, Alhamdulelah for being Muslims, Alhamdulelah for being able to recite the Quran, Alhamdulelah for being one of the Ummah of our beloved Messenger Mohamed much prayer and peace be upon him, his household and companions.

Just wanting to share my very humble thoughts about the following amazing Ayahs of Quran, Sobhan Allah.

" Verily! In the creation of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of night and day, and the ships which sail through the sea with that which is of use to mankind, and the water (rain) which Allâh sends down from the sky and makes the earth alive therewith after its death, and the moving (living) creatures of all kinds that He has scattered therein, and in the veering of winds and clouds which are held between the sky and the earth, are indeed Ayât (proofs, evidence, signs, etc.) .for people of understanding ." (Quran 2:164)

Just look at the items Allah brought forth in this Ayah, please take note of the variety between creation of skies and earth, to alternation of night and day, then moving to ships which we mankind manufacture but can only sail and operate with Allah's Will, then back again to Allah's Creation of sending rain, Allah then compiles all living creation that walk on earth and so forth.

Allah clearly states that all of this are signs, proofs and evidence for His existence, but to who, only for those who can understand, those who can use their brains which are also a major bounty from Allah may He be Glorified.

Because if you use your brain for a fraction of a second, you will realize that creating skies and earth in this fashion, keeping skies up there without falling, keeping earth fixed without shaking, cracking or dumping for us to be able to walk on and take shade under the skies, can never be the fruit of a mere chance, can never be the work of any body but a True One Powerful Deity.

Then when you even look at the alternation of night and day specially when night is being inserted into day as eloquently described in the Ayah:" That is because Allâh merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And verily, Allâh is All-Hearer, All-Seer." (Quran 22:61). It certainly looks like merging or inserting night into day, while on the other hand when u look at how Allah brings day from night as described in:" And a sign for them is the night. We withdraw therefrom the day" (Quran 36:37) matter of fact the word in Arabic is literally We skin therefrom, which if you stay up after Fajr and really ponder. If you look at the sky to watch the day light coming up, you will really feel how Allah is Physically skinning it from darkness Sobhan Allah.

But only people who use their brains can see this as evidence.

While looking at the ships that weigh thousands of tons carrying either people or cargo with all the equipment, engines, and other, how they are simply floating over the water? Some may say it is human brain that manufactured, human brain manufactured it yes, but who carries it over the over? Who prevents it sinking? Who keeps it floating? Who keeps it from missing the direction? Only Allah, and only those who use their brain can come to this conclusion.

Allah then made a note about sending the rain, it sure is a major sign, Sobhan Allah, water coming from the sky. Yes we are all aware of the scientific reason behind it, but can any of us make this happen? What do we do if it stops? Wow if it stops, it means rivers will also become dry, humanity is in major trouble. Sobhan Allah and praise be to Allah Who Sends down rain for us to live.

In this position Allah may He be Glorified brings forth an amazing sign, not only in the sense of its creation, function, position in the Ayah, but also in the sense of the accurate description which should attract the attention of any one who has brains, that Mohamed (PAPBUH) the illiterate, or any one else at that time, could have never had knowledge about this 1400 years ago.

Allah Talks about the clouds, Sobhan Allah, describing their exact location as held between skies and earth. We look at them we think they are close so close to skies, however, when we fly in an airplane we realize that they are under the skies with quite a distance between them. Matter of fact the exact word Allah used in Arabic is “musakhar” which literally translates as forced to be in this location and move. So it is not only held but most importantly are forced to be there. Sobhan Allah for the precise explanation, but Who would explain more precise than the Creator.

If u think about it, clouds are forced to be in this position, they have no choice but to be there. Sobhan Allah, if u refer this to the Ayah of the Amanah, you will have a better understanding as that only mankind accepted the trust while mountains and skies refused it.

Order wise, Allah mentioned the clouds after the wind, which is usually let us say the engine that moves the clouds. Sobhan Allah and true Says Allah the Mighty. (sadaq Allah Al Azeem). Who can deny that this is a sign that Allah Sobhanhu wa Ta`ala is there and that Quran is the true word of Allah.

No wonder Allah on another Ayah Say:

" (To) those whose eyes had been under a covering from My Reminder (this Qur’ân)," (Quran 18:101). I can see the translation making the reminder as reciting the Quran, however, in my humble opinion it carries more than that. Of course using the eyes to read the Quran is certainly dhikr (remembrance), but can’t you also see how using the eyes to look into all the above mentioned sings can lead you at the end of saying Sobhan Allah, which is of course one of the forms of dhikr, how can it lead you to realize and recognise the Existence of Allah then appreciate His work, appreciate His blessing He bestowed over us, appreciate the facilities He granted mankind to be able to spend this short journey on earth.

Brothers and sisters, practice this deserted worship of pondering upon Allah’s Creation and say Sobhan Allah.

Praise be to Allah and prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohamed Ibn Abdullah

as salam alykom

I felt I needed to elaborate on the word Musakhar that appeared on the Ayah describing the state of the clouds.

The word on its own is miraculous to be used in this position.

See the act of taskheer is precisely to force someone to work on a certain job, allocating a certain position for doing so without paying a wage in return.

Now Allah using this to describe the state of the clouds in the Quran is very influencial. Simply, it conveys the sense that clouds are there by Allah's order, hanging in this position or the other by Allah's order, they are there to serve to work, for they are responsible to send down rain, of course they do their work without being paid, so they are Mussakhar in the physical meaning of the word.

Sobhan Allah. Again Allah preceeded the word clouds with the word wind. We indicated that the wind is responsible for the movement of the clouds, but also only when the clouds are hit by cold wind that they send down rain. Who can just look into such signs and ponder. Only those who have brains. Sobhan Allah.

How can the Messenger (PAPBUH) 1400 years ago talk about such scientific facts? How can anyone who uses his brain ignore these signs.

Praise be to Allah the Only Deity Worthy of worship, prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohamed Ibn Abdullah, his household and companions.

Pondering on the following Ayah several times, or let us say each time I read I felt so much like sharing it with my brothers and sisters here.

" And seek help in patience and As-Salat (the prayer) and truly it is extremely heavy and hard except for Al-Khashi'un [i.e. the true believers in Allah - those who obey Allah with full submission, fear much from His Punishment, and believe in His Promise (Paradise, etc.) and in His Warnings (Hell, etc.)]." (Quran 2:45)

The word khashi`un is a hard Arabic word to translate. Because the status of khushu implies many aspects, it implies the utmost fear of Allah, the utmost sense of Allah's Presence, of His Majesty, Power, the sense of ones heart be fully absorbed with Allah, focused on Allah, nothing occupies the heart but Allah.

Just look at the remedy Allah Is Commending for us in cases of difficulty. Allah Did not suggest to talk about it, to take pills, to try and plan counteractions, take necessary protective measures or any of the like that human beings usually think of. Allah instead Teaches us to seek help in prayer and patience. Being the Creator, He certainly Knows who can and who can not do that. Not everyone when inflicted with a calamity can recall or even when reminded to seek prayer and patience responds easily. You may advice your coworker who is going through a test saying just go and pray 2 Raka`a and talk to Allah. Instead he /she will shout saying just listen to me let me finish and see how can I handle the situation. You repeat telling the person, talk to Allah the All Wise Who Is certainly of a better plans and arrangement than me. Some may respond while others will never be able to.

Unlike the Khash`iun who don’t need even to be reminded, but they actually run to seek refuge in prayer, never even mention or talk about the trial which is what patience means. They perceive things differently, they see tests as means to become closer to Allah through more prayer, Quran reading, remembrance. That is why Allah Specified which category of mankind will be able to follow this golden rule. Only the Khashiun, may Allah Makes us among them. They perceive tests as a sign of love from Allah. Allah Didn’t specify the Muslimeen, or even Mu`meneen, no this is a totally different level of mankind. Sobhan Allah. Because being a Muslim does not necessarily mean you are a Mu`min and the Mu`min is not necessarily a Khashi`a.

Alhamdulelah Who guided us for this and if it was not for Him we would have never been guided and prayer and peace be upon His Messenger Mohamed.
