Non-muslim?? Pass By

Assalamualaykum...

take a look at this:

Quote:Dr. Moore was a former President of the Canadian Association of Anatomists, and of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists. He was honoured by the Canadian Association of Anatomists with the prestigious J.C.B. Grant Award and in 1994 he received the Honoured Member Award of the American Association of Clinical Anatomists "for outstanding contributions to the field of clinical anatomy."
"For the past three years, I have worked with the Embryology Committee of King cAbdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, helping them to interpret the many statements in the Qur'an and Sunnah referring to human reproduction and prenatal development. At first I was astonished by the accuracy of the statements that were recorded in the 7th century AD, before the science of embryology was established. Although I was aware of the glorious history of Muslim scientists in the 10th century AD, and some of their contributions to Medicine, I knew nothing about the religious facts and beliefs contained in the Qur'an and Sunnah."[2]

At a conference in Cairo he presented a research paper and stated:

"It has been a great pleasure for me to help clarify statements in the Qur'an about human development. It is clear to me that these statements must have come to Muhammad from God, or Allah, because most of this knowledge was not discovered until many centuries later. This proves to me that Muhammad must have been a messenger of God, or Allah." [1]

Professor Moore also stated that:

"...Because the staging of human embryos is complex, owing to the continuous process of change during development, it is proposed that a new system of classification could be developed using the terms mentioned in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The proposed system is simple, comprehensive, and conforms with present embryological knowledge.

"The intensive studies of the Qur'an and Hadith in the last four years have revealed a system of classifying human embryos that is amazing since it was recorded in the seventh century A.D... the descriptions in the Qur'an cannot be based on scientific knowledge in the seventh century..."[1]

Non Muslim Scientists On Islam

Hazam, if you are really a medical student, you will understand the biological explanation in there, unless you are too ignorance to use your brain.

Quote: It is you sir that has been brainwashed, and when you die you won't even understand that the fundamental beliefs you hold dear will not have meant a damn thing.

Salaam Alaikum!

I had a similar-albeit fruitful-discussion about this with my future "partner." Some time ago, she asked me my opinion on the anthropological view of death. I responded: There are voluminous views on death anthropologically, philosophically, neurologically, etc.each thus having their own robust arguments. It essentially comes down to faith.

I'll repeat what I said to her that night. There are no convincing arguments for or against the Islamic view of death whether it be from a social—philosophic—psychological discipline; we'll all have to wait until the big sleep to unearth the answer, won't we?

no we won't "or shouldn't"...it's the thin line between faith and skepticism you are talking about here.

Faith : believe before you reach and see.

skepticism : don't believe until you reach and see.

but i was thinking of something reagrding the life - after - death. well..i believe in it because it's in the Quran and because a man i trust more than myself said its a fact.....prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)

but there is a theory i was thinking of......similarty between death and sleeping

death is sitution when the soul depart the body completly....as it is not bounded by the body anymore it can move to Al Barzakh......

while sleeping is the situtuion when the soul partialy depart the body and that cause what can be called a disorder "maybe not the proper word" where the soul try to step into al Barzakh...sneak...talk a look through key holes....and thats what dreaming is about........

so i believe that deat will be as you said...a big sleep.

i based that on the following verse.

الله يتوفى الأنفس حين موتها والتي لم تمت في منامها فيمسك التي قضى عليها الموت ويرسل الأخرى إلى أجل مسمى إن في ذلك لآيات لقوم يتفكرون

when i read "يتفكرون" , "يعقلون" و "اولي الالباب" in a verse i feel execited....God want us to understand something very important from this verse!

anyway...its just a theory...by me...and me not a scholar...me not an Imam..me Just a simple guy [Image: biggrin.gif]

dear radiyah, i describe him just as Allah call those people who deny his existance,He call them animals .i didnt say anything by myself,

i ask him to think alot of this creation and its creator, for his benifet

i promise to be more patient

Peace bird, that is Allah, God the one who created, he will call his creations what he pleases, but we are ordered not to call other names, give me one situation when the prophet called any of the Kuffar such names, or any of the sahabas, or any situation when he said to any kafir captive u have no brain. Never did he do that, only Allah the exalted have the right to describe those who do not beleive in him and call him names, not us humans sister, Jazaky Allah khayr sister. Our prophet ordered the sahabas to call the kafir to Islam before fighting, if he did not accept, then he will start fighting and that is only in state of war, how then in state of peace. I hope u got my point sister. And thanku for promising to be more patient [Image: smile.gif]

Ibn, u need to learn more and read more, in the Quran it is written what will happen to the kafir when he dies and also there is ahadeeth by the Prophet(Pbuh).

Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem

10- Those who reject Faith,- neither their possessions nor their -(numerous) progeny will avail them aught against Allah: They are themselves but fuel for the Fire.

11-(Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment.

12-Say to those who reject Faith: "Soon will ye be vanquished and gathered together to Hell,-an evil bed indeed (to lie on)!

3, Al-Imran

and many other ayas, that describes those who die kafir, it is the word of Allah and it is enough proof to everyone of what will happen to those non beleivers.

I don't recall hadeeth now, perhaps our brother Abo Nouran, can furnish us with some.

Jazak Allah khayr brother Qutoz, that must be our faith, in Quran and Prophet(Pbuh).
