how about trying to understand when people reply to what u say "I guess u mean against Islam"

u r missing something here, this is not just a discussion forum, it is an ISLAMIC one. U came here willingly knowing that. Nobody pulled in by force. Nobody is telling u to go out either.

we assume that u want to learn :learn: about Islam, not just talk against it. So when u post wrong info. (not we disagree because of difference of opinion) no wrong info about Islam. Our duty is to correct, not only for u, but for any other visitor who may come it.

whether or not u understand the correction and start changing is up to u. U will still be welcomed here, if u adhere to the forum rules.

did u read them???

It would be good idea to have a section for children. So that they can get to know and share ideas with other muslim children from around the world. It would be good to channel their computer skills etc to Islamic sites instead of sites that are open and unislamic.

there are sum good suggestions here, but realisticly speaking how many children will actually come to an islamic forum. I aint saying there shldnt be one its a great idea but i think that children would be more attracted to going to a website where its more to thier needs and age targeted.

Also y do u want Dan's post deleted? i dnt see anything wrong with it.

I have to agree with amma here...

In order to appeal to children.. the best thing would be to actually set up a whole different section of the site that has more colour... games and things like that... It would also be helpful to talk to someone who has experience with children eg. a child psychologist....

let's be realistic... How many children would be that interested in posting topics on a forum...

if we want to help children then we need to think of effiency... a forum for that target doesn't seem that efficient

Naseeha

You have the right idea about the games etc. Yes you may have another site or it can be linked to this site. You will be pretty amazed that the kids these days have a good idea of what is going on around the world. By us encouraging them to share good ideas will only make them better people. Also they can ask questions for which we can be assured that the board will give them answers that are Islamic. I think that since kids are so exposed to the computers these days we must channel their activities to view or participate in sites that will encourage good or Islamic values. I am new to this site and I am pretty impressed so I thought why not expand this site to include kids so that we can supervise their activity. Anyway it was just a thought.

as salam alykom

Alhamdulelah that the site looks fruitful to new comers, and u know what naseeha and amma I think it is worth giving a try.

We can simply create the room Insh aAllah I will, I know I said I will (pls be patient with me) but it was good to wait for more feed back, announce to all members, then mothers Insh aAllah can bring in their children.

Insh aAllah I also have a number of sites dedicated to children.

Insh aAllah we can give it a try how about that?? Members will have to help spreading the word among mothers to benefit

ha agreed?????:smilingfl
