If anyone got upset with my post, sorry. I was only trying to refocus the discussion. I understand the points made and how they seemed related. I was only concerned that the thread was becoming more about Zionism. I also did not move the thread because I could see the flow of the argument and I did not know where to put it.

I want to point out a fallacy that is easily made by muslims and nonmuslims that we all should be aware of. A statement cannot be made about an organization or religion or anything which its adherents disagree with. For instance... "All muslims are terrorists." Cleary we disagree with this statement as muslims so it cannot be said to be our beliefs. "Muslims worship a black box in the desert." Again this is against our beliefs so it cannot be attributed to us. I bring up this point to be wary of making claims on organizations which the orginization states as false. "Well, they are lying." How do we feel when someone claims the same thing about us? We have people claiming Islam that are making statements that are counter to our Deen. There are a couple members on the board who continue to make statements about Islam that are untrue. We insist they are false yet they accept our statement. Is this not most agravating?

I bring up this point because I used to be deep into conspiracy stuff. Then y2k happened and all the predictions and claims proved to be completely false... %100. I did not see anything close to what was being claimed on sooo many websites. Now I am of the frame of mind that it does not matter. The CIA controls most governments. Freemasons run the country. Zionists are taking over the world. So what? That is between them and Allah suhanna wa ta 'ala. My duty is to live according to the laws that Allah has sent down. If muslims were doing what we all are supposed to be doing, none of this could occur. It only happens as a test for this ummah. Do we want to continue to lay blame on others as the people of the Hellfire will try to do? "It was because of so and so. I was oppressed." These will not serve as excuses then and I do not think that they serve as excuses now.

I am not saying that it is not good to be informed but remember that the only pure information is the Qur'an and sunnah of our Prophet.

Translates as:

Allahum Do not assign on us, due to our sins, those who dont fear u or have mercy on us.

Dont u remember Al A`bas when he was praying for rain at the time of Omar, he said Allah we know that You dont send a test or trial except due to a sin and You dont lift it except with repententance.

Our main duty is to improve ourselves, we r not denying jihad here, but how can people go for jihad without praying first.

Ok I am much calmer now although this last post by you Muslimah is kind of aggravating (not sure why this hostility).

The meanings of your posts are very clear no need to ponder over and over, also there was no rushing in any decision as none was made. All I offered was advice and a reminder, but I will exempt you from further advice and reminders since it gets on your nerves and under your skin. The Du’a you mentioned has nothing to do with the subject.

If there is a danger out there that threatens our Ummah that we were told about in the Quran and Sunnah and I am trying to address it instead of a nonsense discussion, and people turn around and say that its not their duty and we only want to focus on ourselves, then you are not following any of the Quran and Sunnah.

Ask yourself, why is it almost 45% of the Quran is stories about the jews? What did we learn from that? How does it reflect what is going around us now?

How many Ahadith talked about the jews? How did we apply it?

i really dont like as u well know to go into arguments, nor was I hostile in any way. But again didnt u ask youself before replying for the second time, how can we focus on ourselves, what did we mean by this Abu. No u didnt? Alhamdulelah being admin or mod on an Islamic site does not exempt us for making mistakes and learning. But Alhamdulelah also in this we try our best to adopt the sunnah or Rasul Allah in terms of manner.

In this also if u simply went up just two posts u will see the Ayahs' warning about non muslims wishing to turn us back as disbelivers. The problem really emerges when u think by mistake that u might be more concerned for your Islam than others, that is when u misunderstand the way they express. No harm done Alhamdulelah.

Akhi calm down and u may do your duties but also u may call to Allah, warn your brothers and sisters in a kind way

Anyway, the man was captured twice and twice he tried to bring revolution to Europe. Such great ambition for such great people. The French were the first to have a republic in Europe, and they believed that under Napoleon, they will spread this revolution to the rest of Europe. Even though the republic died when Napoleon became Emperor, yet still, its spirit lived the great ruler.

You posted once a link to a website of Jews against Israel. I have it in my favorites list. I hope you didnt change your attitude to the Jews. They remain humans, like me, like you, like all humans since creation.
