The Myth of FreeMasons

I have just read a post by a brother who mentioned the freemasons so I decided to make this topic in order to prove the foolishness of such a myth.

Firstly, I wish people would read more history rather than articles about such a myth. I myself used to believe in Freemasons as an organisation with secret agendas. My physics teacher even gave me a tape called "Behind The Shadows" which thrilled me at the time. But that was about 2 or 3 years ago. Later I began making my own researchs and not depend on anyone else. I realised that such a story could never be true.

What is true:

The Freemasons DO exist. They exist as an expanded lodge. A lodge is a phenomenon that existed since the middle-ages. It is something like the modern trade unions only that it is for masons only. Masons are stone workers.

During the middle-ages, stone workers (or builders) used to travel around looking for jobs (in their building field ofcourse) in europe. (A very nice book about this is The Pillars Of The Earth, I recomend anyone to read it).

Anyway, these workers began to make meetings in lodges throughout Europe. The Freemasons is just a combination of these lodges. A lodge of the workers of the world. Ofcourse, they will have to join first, just like any trade union.

This is how it started. Later on, the Freemasons began to make other programs. Charity programs, political (not behind the scene) programs, etc. As builders, you can describe them as builders of nations. They could have great importance if managed correctly. Now, I believe that anyone could join the Freemasons, not only builders.

Another truth is that ALOT of famous political figures are Freemasons. Some conspiracy believers say it like it's a big secret which they knew and are "exposing the Freemasons". This is actualy foolish. I saw a painting for George Washington with a Freemason pendant around his neck. And ofcourse, the Freemason's Washington Memorial in the US is a huge statue that isnt a secret to anyone.

False:

According to alot of articles I read on the Freemason's "secrets", the Freemasons first (or second after Jerusalem) base is England. The Freemasons supposedly control the Kingdom from behind the curtains. Let me ask the conspiracy believers, do they know how the government of England works? I doubt that. Surely they think its more or less like that of the Arab world, where a "president" comes to power and stays in power until the great unknown pays him a visit.

In the UK, there is something called a parliment, and there is another body called the Monarch. The Monarch cant make a move without the parliment's consent. On the other hand, the parliment and the monarch had ALOT of trouble in the past. Times came when the ruler threw out the parliment (Oliver Cromwell), other times came when the parliment threw out the ruler (James II). Power had changed hands so many times that its hard to know who is the one that's actualy in control.

The third "base" of the Freemasons is supposedly France. France, when I think France, I think nationalism and revolution. I think Napoleon. First I have to explain something about Europe before France.

There is something called the Balance Of Powers. It is when a group of countries become allies anda second group become allies as well. Both group would have more or less the same powers and balance each other out. This way, if one country goes to war with another, the whole of Europe would be dragged into war. No one wants that to happen.

Now back to France, Napoleon, took power and brought one of the first Republics into Europe when all the other countries were monarches ruling serfs and peasants with several feudal lords. Napoleon was exiled twice by the whole of Europe turning against him. The first time he failed, imprisoned, managed to escape, return to France and crowned himself Emperor again for 100 days only. A second masonic base ruled twice by an Emperor that attacked the first masonic base.

Napoleon introduced Code Napoleon which was used ever since by several European countries. It too is one of the first codes of law which insured the rights of people.

I also dont have to mention the first and second world wars. The second, starting after Chamberlain allowed Hitler to take over several European countries, and the League of Nations to allow Italy take over Ethiopia and the Facist revolution in Spain brough the dictator Franco into power. If indeed Europe was controled from behind the sences from the middle-ages, then surely the Masons wont be that stupid as to allow such accurances to happen.

Conclusion:

Now how I see things. I see that Arabs, and muslims mainly, can see very clearly that they are at the bottom of a pit. Our nation is at its lowest time in history and I doubt it will get any lower than this. The problem is that we see a problem, but instead of learning from our mistakes and trying to solve it, we invent some conspiracy theory and blame our problems on them. We stop and think, and when I say think, I mean to think with your own head and not with anyone elses. Even a preacher could be wrong. In the end, make your own research and reach your own conclusions.

Any of those conspiracy believers out there would like to start an argument about this are more than welcome. Inshallah I will reply as soon as possible.

I agree with you .... we need to stop inventing alot of craziness on these things.... stop believing everything we hear and look for the truth ourselves.....

let me give you my take on the situation... the only things that i can say for sure is what i have heard of the lodge.. FROM ACTUAL LODGEMEMBERS..... in my country this is rampant.... there are alot of freemasons around there have even been other lodges...

Very often in the past i have had clashes with freemasons of a low order... asking them about their organisation and their affilitation...

my freind...(lets call him Mr.X) joined the lodge about a year ago... he is very much intrigued with them... I was also very curious to hear about their operations...

Mr.X said that they were an organisation that is based on god... (our country has 3 major religious groups Islam, Hinduism,and Christianity) He said that at their meetings they put all 3 religious books open and convene the meeting... they believe that there is one god who they call the architect... upon inception to their respective lodges they are given an apron... this is a symbol of their affiliation to the group...

My dad went to the funeral of a freemason and what he saw them do is that they put on this apron together with a white gloves and white hat for the dead person... this is because they believe that when they are ressurected they will use this to recognise each other...

let me pause a minute to draw your attiention to some matters that arises from what i just said above

I asked Mr.X about if they have any rituals.. he said they do.... some of them he is allowed to see and some he is not allowed to see...

What you said is all quite interesting, but then again, I dont see any great conspiracy of "world domination" or "destroying Islam".

Indeed I too heard about secrets in the Freemasonry, I also heard that Jews used to kiddnap Christian and Muslim children, drain their blood and make pies from them.

Look, maybe there are a few secrets, but its very absurd to link that with world domination. The conspiracy says that Freemasons are Jews. That those Jews are controling most of the world including all of Europe since the middle-ages. I dont have to tell you about the prosecutions and the hell the Jews went through in Europe specificaly since the middle-ages but to the end of the second world war now do I?

Maybe there are un-islamic things in the organisation, maybe it became almost like a cult, but that is of very little concern to us. There are hundreds and thousands of cults out there. But to think that one is actualy aiming for whatever aims the conspiracy stats...well that's hard to accept. Not only as a thought, but if you read history, you will see a certain trend that has been followed ever since ancient time. It all makes too much sense to think that there is some hidden power controling the world.

i agree with you here...

the thing with many muslims today is that they spend their times researching these things before studying the important issues like 'aqeedah...

i am not saying that researching these things are unimportant however there are many more issues to deal with before dealing with these things....

Napoleon did NOT establish a republic. He used the republic that the French revolution was trying to establish as a way of gaining power. Small tidbit and I was not clear where that fit into your argument but I wanted to correct that.

Now I have a couple of questions that I hope you could shed some light. First I must say that I do not care one way or another. If it is true, it figures. If it is false, it figures. That is just how I am. I agree with Naseeha. Allah and His Deen are all that matter.

1. If you have ever looked at the back of a US dollar, you will see masonic symbols. Why is that? What do they have do with the US?

2. I heard the every president of the US has been a mason. Any comments on that?

That's the only two that I could think of. Like I said, this topic is just intriguing. If it leads nowhere, then I am not too heartbroken. Just curious.

The people of France loved him and supported him twice because he was supposedly aiming to bring a revolution to Europe. According to the masonic myths I read, the Freemasons controled England and France which is nonsense.

I enjoyed the posts here, but Purgetroy I am not sure u r under this illusion made by the jews and having the world pay for it. Well just go to the Quran, spend more time with it, u will know exactly what is their position. U will know how they killed Prophets and messengers.

Adolf Hitler's book Mein Kampf shows his great hatred to Jews and Communists. He blames everything on them. A person with Hitler's mentality, you shouldnt be surprised to think he massacred so many people he hated, which the Jews were on the top of the list.

We also should remember were the Jews went after the muslims were thrown out of Spain. Most of them escaped to North Africa were muslim rule was still standing. They found saftey with us but great prosecution under the Catholics of the time. It is not hidden as well that that Jews were prosecuted in vast numbers during the middle ages. You can see paintings of such things that date since back then.

Indeed the Qoran is the best source for any subject, but nevertheless, the Qoran doesnt speak EVERYTHING in history.

As for the map you studied at school, I suppose you mean the Zionist map. I never said I was with the Israelis. Israel is something and Freemasons are something else. I too believe that the Zionist aims are to control the lands between the Nile and the Euphrates, ie, from Syria to Egypt. But again, this is Israel. Freemasonry is not Israel.
