I think Allah a`alem of course, that whoever did it meant to undermine Islam, where as Allah turned table making people investigate more about it. My point was simply if we applied the hadeeth u quoted, jihad shall not be applicable on the case of 11/9 or am I understanding the hadeeth wrongly.

Abu, jihad is something so sacred, we all wish we could attain the level of jihad most importantly jihad an nafs as to how far we control our ego and anger, how far we do things only for Allah, not to attain personal credit. And certainly we all wish to be part of Afganistan, Chenchnya, Plaestine or other Muslim hot areas to simply attain shahadah. But just we must do it right.
I rather no comment on the above especially when you said, "whoever did it meant to undermine Islam" etc.

Sister my sencere advice to you is to read what the scholars have said regarding the hadeeth i quoted and this topic, as you know we must ask the people of knowledge if you dont know.

I suggest reading Sheikh ul Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, etc works, they are very good.

Jazakum Allah khairan for your advice, but u still ignore the hadeeth u quoted. Also I was not the one who made judgements. just exactly as u said u r aware of both views and u endorse the one which is for it. I see the other view correct. So I did not do anything more than u did but just different from u.

well I m out of this topic following the sunnah to avoid argument even if Iam correct.

Thanks to all for contributing, despite my disagreement with some of it.

Abu Dujanah, do you believe "an eye for an eye", is the best course of action?

Nothing has erupted Phat, Abu and me are Muslims which makes us brother and sister. Even if we differ no hatered or enmity erupts never. we remain sister and brother in Islam. U know what Phat, I also respect Abu a lot for his sincere (Insh aAllah wallah u a`alem) effort he is dedicating for Islam. Even if I differ with him, he remains one who is struggling.

for them selves .

do you think brother peaceful that korean vietnamese are bad

because they fought against US army

do you think that the french resistance were bad because they fought

against natzi army.

and at the same time against traitors like general pettan and his goverment.

dear brother peaceful :
